The certificate awarded by RELGmbH identifies products and services with lower environmental impact compared to similar products. To apply for the certificate, relevant documentation must be submitted. Once all requirements are met, a contract for the use of the label is established.
Validity at VS
The certificate is valid EU-wide for five years and is also recognised in some neighbouring EU countries.
The equivalent to the EU Ecolabel are the BIFMA level and European Level certificates, both held by VS.
