Rio del Sol K-8 STEAM School Oxnard, California

In collaboration with the Rio del Sol School District, architecture firm A4E developed an overall concept for a K-8 STEAM and maker space campus that combines creativity and functionality. Inspired by a ‘river of knowledge,’ the design includes interconnected activity hubs that encourage spontaneous learning. The flexible, VS-equipped 21st-century classrooms are connected to indoor and outdoor maker spaces, supporting innovative pedagogy.
