For us, product responsibility starts with the first thoughts we have about a new product. And everything carries on from there: purchasing raw materials, manufacture, complying with quality and emission standards, delivery, assembly and service. Right up to a return and recycling concept for worn-out furniture.
We manufacture only in Tauberbischofsheim, in the north of Baden-Württemberg. Working and processing of wood materials and steel tubing and the assembly of our products are our core skills that we never want to lose.
Sustainability is characterised above all by the long service life of products. This applies in particular to our school furniture, which is often used for 30 years or more – even though everyday school life is the toughest stress test for any type of furniture. But our office furniture is also extremely durable. We lay the foundation for this durability right from the product development stage with a modular design and interchangeable parts.
For all VS products, we guarantee to offer original parts or parts with equivalent functionality for a period of five years after purchase.* Relevant spare parts are usually also available for ten years or more.
Most spare parts can be shipped and replaced without an installation team. For all repair work, especially for more complex and, above all, safety-relevant components, our customer service team will be happy to visit you.
*Exceptions are IT products, products manufactured to individual customer specifications and merchandise purchased by us.

In design and manufacture, we efficiently use the resources of materials and energy to protect humanity and the environment. We also benefit from the fact that we have our core skills of wood and steel tubing processing and assembly on-site, which means we can control our own material and energy use.
