Flexible learning space with a fixed circle of seats

Some things need a fixed spot—for example, the shared circle of seats, which in the Chur model usually stays in the same place. What happens around it is another story: The ChurerBox, a sturdy stool with storage space for Gratnell boxes that we developed in collaboration with schools, turns every student’s spot in the circle into a small base camp. Room dividers, tables, chairs, the Hokki rocking chair, and a seating area do the rest.
