CSG Reggesteyn Nijverdal
On 20 November 2025, the new 2.7-hectare campus, which accommodates over 1,000 pupils, was officially opened. In order to create an energy-neutral campus, a conscious decision was made not to demolish the old building, and a comprehensive modernisation was carried out instead. Particular emphasis was placed on integrating the building into the existing grounds. The result is a place of learning in harmony with nature. CSG Reggesteyn is more than just a place to spend time – it is a place that combines education, quality of life and biodiversity.
The campus also embodies this philosophy in its educational approach: each learning area includes an outdoor space, terraces, study areas and informal social spaces. The campus focuses on outdoor sports and hands-on learning for pupils. A particular highlight is the school’s guiding principle: ‘Noaberschap’ – a concept of social sustainability put into practice, whereby pupils, teachers and the local community look out for one another and take responsibility.
The focus is on flexibility, practical learning and social interaction. The combination of theory and practice is designed to make learning more accessible and interesting. Whether conducting their own research, tackling real-world business challenges or carrying out experiments – our facilities support a variety of learning styles, from independent projects to group work. The layout of the teachers’ workstations enables them to provide optimal support for the pupils.
